problem

The client came with idea for a startup — one platform for coaches and their clients. This idea is very timely. Many coaches and teachers offer their services now, but there is no good platform for managing the classes.

solution

I made a research about problems of coaches and their clients, using open sources and surveys. I found many useful insights. Based on this, I developed the concept of the service, made user scenarios and prototypes for the MVP version. It was important to focus only on the most important things. After that, I made the UI design and coordinated the developer during the build.

The idea is to make a platform where users and coaches can find each other and communicate. Coaches get a convenient tool for managing their sessions, and clients can easily browse and choose reliable, verified coaches for their needs.

The research helped me to find the main pains of coaches and their clients.

For coaches:

There is no one full tool for managing different types of sessions
They must always promote themselves on social media to get clients

For clients:

No confidence in the coach's reputation
Too many different tools that different coaches use

After this, I selected the most important things for coaches:

Possibility to run group sessions online
Possibility to run group sessions with pre-recorded lessons, opening them step by step
Possibility to give homework to users and receive it in the platform
Possibility to organize private sessions by video call (calendar booking and meeting)
Marketing tools
Convenient ways to promote their courses — new coaches get a chance to be noticed
